A very special commemorative bottling celebrating 400 years of distilling at Bushmills.
The 1608 bottling is a blend comprising of some well aged grain whiskeys along with some special 'Crystal Malt' which has been aged on a combination of American Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks. The Crystal malt adds some pleasant chocolate flavours to the whiskey which combine extremely well with the vanilla characters (from the Amercian oak) and the spicy toffee characters (from the Spanish Sherry casks).
A finely crafted whiskey that will only be widely available for the year 2008. Thereafter supplies will be strictly limited.
