Located in the village that is home to the world's oldest distillery, Bushmills Inn is a multi-award winning hotel and restaurant, with unique character and charm, where the friendly warm atmosphere guarantees a weekend of perfect relaxation.
The Mill House
The oak-beamed Loft with its fireplace "snug" is the gateway to the Mill House on the banks of the River Bush.
Here these spacious and creatively designed guest rooms, discretely accommodating modern technology, all have their own sitting room area, small dressing room and, of course, private bathrooms. There are six Superior rooms that are slightly different, three have four-poster beds and all enjoy enhanced furnishings and services. There are two family rooms adored by children - they climb a ladder to a mezzanine area with two full sized beds. Because of the ladder it is not suitable for young children.
The “Taste of Ulster” Restaurant
Overlooking the garden courtyard, this award-winning restaurant takes in the original 17th century stables and wine cellar, and contrasts intimate snugs with whitewashed walls and warm mellow brick with well-aged timbers.
Dinner is from 6.00 pm. Savour the delights of a unique blend of classical and new Irish cuisine perhaps featuring well aged, pan fried peppered fillet of beef flamed in Bushmills whiskey or our fabled sticky toffee pudding. Reservations are recommended, even for residents.
The Gas Bar
It’s the gas lights that set the tone and inspired the name of this Victorian style bar. Pull up an armchair to the fire or take a stool at the bar counter and join in the "banter" and the "craic".
On the A2 (Antrim Coast Road) between the Giant's Causeway and Royal Portrush Golf Club in the village of Bushmills as you cross the River Bush.
