The Cattier family has a rich history as an elite Champagne house. In the tiny French village of Chigny-les-Roses, they have cultivated family vineyards since 1763.
The Clos du Moulin is an excellent Champagne of the Cattier family’s vineyards. It has a golden hue with fine mousse. The nose is very fresh, with lots of citrus and brioche, the body is sweet and creamy with hints of wild strawberry and cherry along with good minerality and an impressively long finish.
This champagne is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from 3 vintages.
The production of each cuvée is limited to 15 to 20 000 with all bottles numbered.
