Accommodation
All of our lodging is comprised of suites and cottages in place of guest rooms – each one different from the next – meticulously designed with hand-selected antiques and reclaimed woods, beams, and fireplaces. Every suite enjoys its own individual personality and style, each tailored to fit modern demands for comfort, in an understated, yet luxurious manner.
Spa
Awaken the Senses. Nestled within Doonbeg Lodge, White Horses Spa is an underground sanctuary of wellness, vitality, and rejuvenation. Named after the white foamy crowns of the rolling Atlantic waves, the spa was designed by internationally renowned Irish-born designer Clodagh. Inspired by the natural environment of Co. Clare, regenerative treatments using local natural salts, seaweeds, algae, and herbal extracts recall the ancient wisdom of ritual healing. Guests can enjoy body scrubs, Thai and Swedish Massage, Basalt Stone Massage, Sea Spirulina and Mud Body Wraps, Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
Featuring warm hues across stone floors, venetian plaster walls, and antique beamed ceilings, the spa permeates a sense of relaxation through kinetic lighting, glowing candles, and a soothing atmosphere filled with calming essential oils.
Golf
Doonbeg Golf Course officially opened in 2002, and was immediately designated as Golf Digest’s “Best New International Course.” Enjoying a breathtaking location matched with distinctive services and facilities. Maybe the last true links course to be built in either Ireland or England, Doonbeg is ideally situated between two of Ireland’s other top ranked courses, BallyBunion and Lahinch.
Other Activities
Whether you're looking for a day away from the links or something to keep the family busy, the area around Doonbeg has lots to offer, so it's easy to get out there and enjoy County Clare.
