Set in a converted country farmhouse, the Guesthouse offers visitors ensuite rooms with modern facilities, as well as lounge rooms with soothing views of the surrounding countryside.
A converted barn adjoined to the main house features a swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Several further rooms have been converted to treatment rooms, where visitors can enjoy the health treatments ranging from a mini facial through to a back, neck and shoulder massage to a reiki or reflexology session. All treatments are provided by professional personnel to the highest international standards. Full day pamper packages are a specialty.
All prices include the use of bathrobes, towels, complimentary teas, herbal infusions and fresh fruit.
Remember to bring flip flops, swim cap and swimwear. Make-up must be removed prior to treatments and jewellery should be left at home as no responsibility is accepted for mislaid items.
We serve dinner for those staying on Saturday nights. For other days, we will be happy to recommend a local restaurant.
Grove House closes for two days during the week, depending on bookings. When making a mid week reservation, we always try to accommodate the days that suit our guests.
From Mallow
Through the town center to Clock House at end of the town. Turn left for 1.5 miles. Next left N73 Dublin road for 8 miles. Note Garage on left at crossroads and turn right to Shanballymore village. Through village, pass church. Grove House first entrance on left after speed limit sign.
From Fermoy
Go to Ballyhooley. Take left for Castletownroche. Stop at Grotto on right before entering village. Take Kildorrery road for 3 miles. Grove House on right before speed limit sign, before entering village of Shanballymore.
From Mitchelstown
Take Mallow/Killarney road first 7 miles through Kildorrery. Continue 2.5 miles. Turn left for Shanballymore at sign. Through village and pass church. Grove House first entrance on left after speed limit sign.
From Charleville
Take Cork road through Ballyhea village and continue 2.5 miles. Take left N73 Mitchelstown road. Continue 4.5 miles to crossroads. Continue Mitchelstown road for 3.5 miles. Turn right at Calvary (Statues). Continue 2.5 miles through Shanballymore village and pass church. Grove House first entrance on left after speed limit sign.
