Killary is situated in one of the most stunning locations in Ireland, surrounded by mountains in every direction waiting to challenge you. There are different levels of Hill Walking open to you from a leisurely walk along the relatively flat ‘Famine Walk’ to the more adventurous day long Hill Walk along the ‘Mweelrea Horse Shoe’, named as one of the most difficult walks in Ireland. A route will be chosen depending on your group’s fitness and the ever changeable weather. This session lasts 3 hours – price is per person.
Killary Adventure Company has over 28 years experience of providing outdoor activities and adventures in one of the most beautiful settings in Ireland – overlooking Killary Fjord near Leenane, Connemara, just 60 minutes from Galway City.
We have two activity session times daily 10.00am - 1.00pm and 2.00pmn - 5.00pm. Most bookings are based on a minimum of 4 people. Individuals can be put in with other groups. Bookings must be made in advance. All equipment is provided – just bring suitable outdoor clothing. Lower Age Limit: 12 Years.
