Whether you are 17 or 75, the sensation of driving a single seater racing car on a fast race circuit is second to none (if you’ll excuse the pun!). All you need to start is to be able to drive a manual gearbox. The day is exciting and fun and guaranteed to get the adrenalin flowing.
Our motor racing lessons take place at the Kirkistown Race Circuit , on the Ards Peninsula is not only within easy reach of Belfast and the Irish Republic. It is the only MSA Car Racing licensed circuit in Ireland offering fast sections, demanding corners and up-to-date safety requirements.
The motor racing school will provide you with a crash helmet along with race overalls. However we recommend you bring a pair of flat shoes (not bulky trainers). The school does provide gloves but if you have your own, suitable for driving, as with the helmet, you are welcome to use your own personal equipment.
On our motor racing courses, you will learn from expert racing instructors, following motor racing training methods pioneered at the Race School of Ireland, and now followed by racing schools the world over.
Our race school runs courses over a number of specified Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. Booking is essential and participation on a particular race school date is subject to availability.

Kirkistown circuit is the home of Race School Ireland. Its location on the Ards Peninsula is not only within easy reach of Belfast and the Irish Republic but the drive includes spectacular views of Strangford Lough and surrounding countryside.
Drivers and guests from further afield and overseas often take advantage of the several hotel and bed and breakfast establishments in the area, turning their Race School Ireland experience into a short break.
