The Ultimate Skid Control Experience! This specialist Skid Control and ABS course at the Leinster Driving Campus in Taghadoe, Maynooth Co. Kildare uses purpose-built skid pads to simulate wet and icy road conditions and will teach you everything you need about controlling a car in a skid situation.
Firstly, your instructor will help you master the basics of car control including over and under steer control. Then, you will learn how to master the use of ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) in an emergency. Then it’s back on the skid pad again, where your instructor will encourage you to let the car slide more and even spin around! This will give you the confidence and techniques needed to bring the car back in control from some seemingly impossible situations!
This experience lasts approx 1 ½ - 2hrs. Minimum Age: 18.Driver must hold a valid full driver’s license or a valid learner permit. Open 7 days a week, 09:00am – 09:00pm. Advance booking required.
