Ever wanted to learn to drive a tank? Well now you can! At the Irish Military War Museum, an in-house instructor can teach you to drive an original FV432 armoured personnel carrier.
The Irish Military War Museum and family park, offers a fascinating insight into Irish participants' involvement in both World War One and World War Two, as well as other military conflicts in world history. The Irish Military War Museum, covering 5,000 square feet of floor space, will represent a distinctly non-political but 'must see' educational and historical resource for people of all ages and from right across the island of Ireland and beyond.
First built in Britain in 1962, the FV432 tank is still in service with various armies, proving just how dependable a vehicle it is. It is also great fun to drive, so why not sign up for a lesson and find out for yourself! You will also get your own Certificate of Achievement, FV 432 APC Driver Training Level 1, to prove that you have driven a tank!
