More about the artist:
Jean Bardon was born in Dublin in 1952. She attended Dun Laoghaire School of Art from 1970 – 1974. Jean’s introduction to printmaking came when she was living and working in Amsterdam. She has been involved in many exhibitions at Graphic Studio Dublin, including 'The Gardens of Earthly Delight', 'The Holy Show', both organised in conjunction with The Chester Beatty Library and most 'Revelation' at National Gallery of Ireland. For the last few years Jean has mastered the skill of working with gold & palladium leaf on her etchings, a process which lends itself tremendously to her intricate and detailed studies of nature and decorative ceramics.
