Experience what it is like to pilot a 747 Jumbo Jet from Shannon to New York! After take-off in the Jet-Ex flight simulator, you will climb out towards the Atlantic and fly towards the US. Our Pilots will explain to you how Atlantic crossings work and how to calculate waypoints and alternate landing airports. You will then be positioned for a landing at JFK Airport. This experience lasts 60 minutes.
The Jet-Ex flight simulator provides a totally real flight experience. From the flight captains seat, you will be immersed in a wraparound visual of the outside world. Feel the 747’s power as you accelerate down the runway and take off. Experience the rumble of the engines and the forces on the controls as you gain altitude. Sense the exhilaration (and relief!) as you execute the perfect landing. All the time being instructed by a qualified pilot in the co-pilot seat.
