The Childline Listening Service, provided by the ISPCC, is Ireland’s 24-hour active listening service for children and young people up to and including age 18.
Children and young people can talk to Childline about any issue that may be on their mind and the service will listen to them, believe them, support and empower them and work to strengthen their resilience, to help them cope with any challenge that might come their way.
The service is free to contact, confidential and non-judgemental. Children and young people turn to Childline to talk about all sorts of topics. Some may simply seek a listening ear, while others face challenges that no child should ever have to experience. For many, contacting Childline is the first brave step on their journey.
