This is the best gift for a kid or teen who loves surfing or is eager to try it. They can spend a week experiencing the thrill of learning to surf at Sligo Surf Experience's surf camp.
This is a 5 day surf camp runs Monday - Friday in June, July and August from 10 - 12:30pm and includes surfing and bodyboarding, beach games, eco-walks, water safety and ocean awareness and, of course, lots of fun in the ocean. Surf equipment is provided, bring suitable clothes (including a towel & swimming suit) and a pack lunch. The voucher is valid for one kid aged 9-15 for a week long camp. No previous surfing experience needed. Accommodation not included. Surfing is subject to weather conditions.

Sligo Surf Experience is open May to October. During peak season in July and August they offer 3 group lessons per day seven days per week and regular surfing classes in off peak and winter season.

Sligo Surf Experience surf school in Strandhill was established by local surfer Seamus Mc Goldrick in 2018 as a vehicle to use his unique set of skills acquired by a lifetime in the ocean to provide the best surf lessons at Strandhill Beach.
Sligo Surf Experience is stocked with the best surfing and bodyboarding equipment. We have an excellent range of thick winter wetsuits to fit all types of people that will keep customers perfectly warm in the water. During cold weather, hoods and gloves are supplied to keep you extra warm.
Our surf lesson give people the opportunity to focus on one thing for a couple of hours and get lost in the moment. Surfing is an exercise in mindfulness. Standing in the unceasing ocean you get lost in its endless movement, which are always unpredictable yet demand our attention so we can plot our next move.
